Forces: Push and Pull

A force is a push or a pull.

We need force to make something move.

You can push objects and move them forward.

You can pull objects towards you.

The shape of an object can change when you a force makes contact with it.

Una fuerza es un empuje o un tirón.

Magnets and Simple Machines

Magnets have an invisible force that pulls things towards them or pushes things away from them.

Magnets attract some metal objects.

The earth is like a big magnet! An object falls to the ground because the Earth pulls objects towards it.
